This is an opt-out post if you are not comfortable with Magneto's powers. I will otherwise ask for permission every time the powers are exerted on your character, unless given a blanket yes or no.

Please also let me know if you are uncomfortable with only one or more of the broad categories of powers: scanning, moving and reshaping.

His power is not limited to ferromagnetic materials (IE he uses the Earth's magnetic fields to fly rather than lifting himself by his belt or helmet) but he is not consciously aware of this. However, even though gold and silver are not "magnetic" for instance, he should have control over those materials. Here is a neat article explaining some cool things under the spectrum of his power set but I am going to largely ignore them because apparently Erik didn't pay attention in science class.
